Ramblings of a disconnected mind...

The world spun off its axis, and still we waited.
The night grew light, not a sound did we make.
The storm battered the walls, fury unabated.
The heavens tore asunder, no vision moved us.
We stood in the eye of a maelstrom, the calm before the storm. We walked the void, marveling its emptiness.
A thousand suns seared our flesh, and still we did not care.
We walked among the fires and marvelled at the flames.
We played with the devils and sang with the angels never acknowledging the taint.

Till next time, Our thought for the day,

Age does not protect you from love. But love, to some extent, protects you from age.
